If someone hasn't seen Kalyssa lately, you will be most surprised! You would never guess that she was born as a preemie. She is a sweet even tempered little girl, her sunny disposition is evidenced by the ready smiles and patience. I have always said that nine months is one of my most favorite ages to enjoy children. She is living up to what I enjoy the most, the little squeals, the smiles, strong body response to anything funny, etc. She was dressed as a little Lady Bug for Halloween and seemed to enjoy all of her photo opportunities! Her sister also looked all girlie girl in her pink lace and little crown! What an absolute joy these two girls are; to so many people.

That blog gave me a lump in my throat; what precious little girls. Yes, she will just decide it is time to use the potty, she is fine just the way she is. If I had the chance to raise my sons, I would worry less and trust that each child has their own little time line. She has good/sound guidance from her Mommy and Daddy.

Suzanne:
Just received the pictures in the mail today. Kalyssa is beautiful. (And Brianna reminds me so muck of you during that year Tony, our boys, and I came to Indianna for a visit - so long ago!) You are right, Kalyssa does look like a Gerber Baby. I am sorry to hear that you have been going though so much worry, but am so happy to know that Kalyssa is doing so well. I will definitely keep reading your blog. Thank you so very much for sending me the pictures. Love and God Bless to you and your family,
Linda

She weighed 10.5 pounds last Thursday and 10.8 at her weight check. The doctor says her ear is more yellow than red so her infection is reacting well to the Amoxacillin she is on. It is, however, causing runny stools - which we had to get a permission slip about in order to take her to day care today.

Overall - good news :)

So glad to hear that she is feeling better. Willie gets periodic updates through Grandpa Marvin but we like to check the website as well. The picture is so cute.

Happy BIRTHday Kalyssa. So sorry to hear you aren't feeling very well. That tummy thing that's going around isn't very pleasant. Please know that I'm praying for you (and your Mommy, Daddy, and big sister, Brianna!). Hope you all feel better really soon and can get to your Grandma's house for Mother's day. Did you get your Mommy something (besides a dirty diaper, silly girl!?!?)? Maybe if you smile at Daddy really nice he can help you get something for Mommy... or maybe Big Sis can help by coloring a picture for you. Hope you get all better soon. Lots of love and kisses! Holly
